Turbines Sunset
Writing about Sunset over the Norfolk coast from Paul’s blog

So I thought I’d share too – this one isn’t posed, believe it or not
This is a shot on the sea wall of the island of Baltrum, which I took when I was there just after christmas. The wind turbines are back on the German coast.

Sad giants on the horizon; not waving but drowning perhaps…...
(sometimes wonder if I’m too whimsical for the e-learning age..)

I really think wind farms look lovely on landscapes but I know the debate is a hot one. This shot prooves my point, I think.

I think they look great too – have you ever stood near one? They make a very relaxing thrumming sound as they slowly turn and when there are lots of them it’s an odd noise.
