Telephonic
Exciting news: I’ve got a new mobile :-)
I’ve always had Nokia phones, since I got my very first 3210 way back in ‘99. But now I’ve jumped ship – Sony Ericsson it is. K610i. V. nice. Recommended.
On the other hand, my landline has broken. ADSL and CLI work, but there’s no dialtone and it doesn’t ring. So I reported the fault to BT online, it did a line test automagically, and let me divert calls to my mobile until they fix it. Which is nice of them.

This time last year I got a K750i after many years of Nokias. I’m happy with my choice also. In fact, this is the first time in a while when I’ve not wanted to change my phone when my 12 month contract is up. Although the K800i is quite tempting…

Mmm telephone geekery. My only complaint with this phone is that there are no usable ringtones. Usable, without breaking out into laughter, that is.
So I found a recording of a bell, and turned that into a ringtone, and all is well with the world again.

True – I wouldn’t use any of the standard tones on the K750i either. I’ve ended up with a CTU ringtone (spot the “24” fan:-)
